Katrin's enthusiasm for photography showed up early and began to take its course when she got her first camera in her childhood years.
At the age of 17 she started with assisting a professional photographer and after a decade long excursion into the fashion and model industry, she came back to her passion and made it her career.
Katrin is thrilled by nature and its people. Her images reflect the uniqueness of every being on earth. Strong and fragile, simple and complex. Her attention is always turned to this one moment of authenticity, the honesty which hides behind the sheer image.
Her work goes straight back to the source of existence. A brave path, I think, in a world which falls more and more under the radiant spell of the artificial.
