The Idea behind the Box

With the words of the artist

It happens to me often that people tell me that they would love to have one of my originals but can’t afford it. Unfortunately, my paintings are very time-consuming. My idea was to create an affordable limited edition box that shows a nice overview of my work and becomes something very special with a small original of mine added to it. The Collector’s Edition of the Greatest Hits Box has become a real gem, and I hope it will inspire you to dive deeper into the mysteries of the universe.

 

     

66 Paintings inspired by Music

Music is the greatest inspiration for me. It helps me to immerse myself into the abstract and fills my mind with rhythm, which I transfer to the canvas. I painted 66 small artworks for this project. Each one is inspired by one of my favorite songs. In the booklet you will find a playlist of 66 tunes, which is also the list of all the miniature paintings of the Collector’s Edition.

 

     

Inside the Box

The Collector’s Edition of the Greatest Hits folder contains 18 signed prints, a lovingly designed booklet and an original artwork. Above you can see the complete content:

The portfolio includes 18 signed art prints of my most famous works. I have gone through many different phases since 2001 and this selection of images also shows the development of my art over the years up to the present day. In the booklet you will find some nice quotes as well as a very personal text about the history of each painting and my thoughts behind it.

The ultimate Lucky Bag

Each folder comes with one of the 66 miniature paintings. The piece is already mounted in a black mat and only needs to be hosted by a frame (18x24cm – mat can be cut for american frames). All portfolios are sent out at random. I trust the universe that you will receive exactly the painting that was made for you. I know it will be the most expensive lucky bag of your life, but each original is very unique and a true Bax.

This limited edition box reflects my dedication to art and the mysteries of our lives. Everything I create, I do in an attempt to bring a little more light into the darkness. I sincerely hope that the experience of this portfolio takes you on a journey, beyond the beaten paths of our society, into a world of possibilities and understanding.
